CER Options - Expiry Dates

The ICE Futures CER Options Contract ceases trading at the end of the Designated Settlement Period (currently 16:59:59 hours UK local time) on the third Business Day prior to the expiry of the relevant ICE ECX CER Futures contract month. The table below displays the additional quarterly options contracts and their expiry dates.

Each year, on expiry of the December Options contracts, further March, June and September contracts will be listed. For example on expiry of the Dec 2010 option contract, Mar 2012, Jun 2012 and Sep 2012 option contracts will be listed.

Options will automatically exercise if they are one or more ticks in-the-money with reference to that day’s official settlement price of ICE ECX Futures. At-the-money and out-of-the-money options will expire and there are no early or manual exercise facilities.
